Rodden Presents Pervasive Computing Concept at Doors of Perception Conference in Amsterdam

PORTLAND, Ore.

November 15, 2002

Pat Rodden, a founding partner at Fiori, presented the “My Life” concept today at the Doors of Perception Conference in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

“My Life” is a pervasive computing concept that combines currently available technology to create a system to allow people to record, collect, and organize life experiences and the context around these experiences. These experience records — images, video, text, audio, sensory — and the My Life system, provide the information and tools for people to create and share the stories of their lives.

The Doors of Perception is an event sponsored by Archis Magazine. Doors brings together thought leaders from across the globe to share insights and ideas about people and computing.
