Fiori Lands New Project with Tripod Data Systems

Fiori, a consumer research and design firm, announces a new program with Tripod Data Systems (TDS), maker of At Work Computers. Fiori will work with TDS to develop a new handheld computer to be used in land surveying, forestry and industrial machine control markets.
Fiori’s prior work with TDS included the design of Recon, the new standard in lightweight, extremely rugged handhelds. Recon features the latest low-power XScale™ processor and LED display-light technologies for true all-day use, even in sub-freezing temperatures.
